The Pazy Foundation is a joint research fund for the Israeli Atomic Energy Commission (IAEC) and the Planning and Budgeting Committee of the Council for Higher Education (VATAT) which aims to promote research, scientific-technological knowledge, and the training of scientific manpower in issues of interest to the IAEC in three areas Knowledge: chemistry and materials, engineering and physics. 

To this end, the foundation supports scientific collaborations between researchers at academic research institutions and researchers at the IAEC centers (the Nuclear Research Center Negev and the Soreq Nuclear Research Center).
